As you consider finishing your basement, develop a "wish list" of everything that you would like to have in your new living space. Would another bathroom be convenient? Is it a good investment for your home? Do you need a full bath or just a powder room? If you want a full bath, do you need a bathtub or just a shower? Do you want an entertainment area with a wet bar? Decide how you are going to use the new space. Will you need a craft area? Will the craft area need a sink? Is your laundry in the basement? As you plan your new living area do you want a separate area for your furnace, water heater, and other utilities? Do you need storage space? Do you have plans for a media room or pool table? Do you want a fireplace?
Our design specialists at The Basement Tuxedo of Baltimore are trained to help you with all of these items. We will listen as you go over your "wish list". Then we will work with you and make suggestions that will get you the basement of your dreams.

If you presently have a damp or wet basement, it will need to be waterproofed before we can proceed with installation of The Basement Tuxedo. Luckily, we have a Waterproofing Specialist on Staff, and a company division that will waterproof your basement, and leave you with a Transferable Lifetime Warranty.
